Sheriff's Mission:
The Pend Oreille County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement organization whose role is to protect the areas and citizens of Pend Oreille County and its visitors. The Departments responsibility is to provide assistance to the public and to gain their cooperation and compliance with established regulations, ordinances and laws.
The mission of the Pend Oreille County Sheriff's Office is to provide law enforcement, communications and corrections services in the most professional, courteous and efficient manner possible. We acknowledge that the responsibility for public safety and the quality of life in our County is a shared responsibility.
To that end, we will strive to nurture a partnership based on trust and respect amongst the Sheriff's Office, the communities and residents of our county. We view our department as a living, growing enterprise which will remain flexible to change. We will maintain the highest ethical standard in our profession and be steadfast in our commitment to duty.
