Billing and collection of real and personal property taxes and special assessments
Receipting of funds from other county districts and departments
Accounting and disbursement of all funds for federal, state, county, cities, and junior taxing districts.
Managing cash flow of the county and investing funds not needed for immediate expenditures for the county residual and junior taxing districts
Responsible for monthly balancing and reporting to all districts
Conducting foreclosure and tax title sales
Redeem all county, port district, and school district warrants and maintain listings of registered warrants
Involved in authorized bond sales of school districts and other units of local government
Administers short and long term debt financing
Issues mobile home moving permits
Acts as an agent for the state Department of Revenue in the collection and disbursement of real estate excise tax for real estate and mobile home sales
Maintains current versions of Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) rules regarding operation of county business
Coordination of banking services and financial planning within and between the county and various taxing districts
