Welcome to Pend Oreille County's Prevention program, a vital component of Washington State's community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI). Supported by grant funds from the Washington State Health Care Authority, we collaborate with state agencies, counties, schools, and local prevention coalitions to combat substance abuse.

OUR MISSION IS CLEAR:

We are dedicated to educating and raising awareness among youth and community members to prevent substance use and underage drinking. Our focus is on reducing the availability of opioids, alcohol, and marijuana through a variety of strategies, including community events, public awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and evidence-based programs. Our goal is to shift attitudes toward substance use and foster healthier communities. Let's work together to create a positive impact.
