Posting Bail

Inmate bail is set in court by a judge. The Pend Oreille County Corrections Facility accepts only cash bail or surety bonds from approved Bail Bonding companies. A list of justification signed companies are posted in the Bail Companies link. Bond may be posted 24 hours a day at the jail.

Bonds may also be posted at the court in which the bond order was issued in. This type of bail process must be during business hours of the court clerk’s office and the use of a credit or debit card may be used at these locations. If this process is used, the total bond amount is normally returned once the case is completed and the defendant complies with all release conditions.

Bail amounts are also accepted from inmates having sufficient funds at the time of booking, or when the inmate has sufficient funds deposited in their inmate account.
