Visiting Times & Rules

Sunday: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Visitors must sign up in the Sheriff’s Office Lobby between 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 
  • Money for inmates will be accepted before visiting between 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and after visiting 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • All visitors in your party need to check in at the same time.
  • Visitors need to be 18 years of age or older (see minor rules below.)
  • There is a maximum of 3 visitors in the visiting room during a visit.
  • All visitors will be required to provide valid identification during sign-up.
  • Weapons of any kind are not allowed in the visitor area.
  • All visitors coming in the jail visiting area are subject to a metal detector check before entering a visiting room.
  • No purses, backpacks, cell phones, cameras, lighters, heavy clothing, or items that could be concealing contraband will be allowed in the visiting area.
  • The inmate visiting log signed by the visitor will indicate the visitor agrees to these conditions and violations will terminate the visit and could be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for prosecution.

Visitation Identification

The following is a list of acceptable forms of identification:

  • Government issued picture identification; card or driver’s license (includes Tribal I.D.)
  • Identification must have full name, date of birth, picture, and valid expiration date.
  • Photo copies are not acceptable.
  • No expired identification will be accepted.

Rules for Minors

  • Visitors with minors under age 18 are required to sign a Visitation Affirmation Form prior to visitation.
  • The Visitor Affirmation Form will be filed into the visited inmate’s records for future visits.
  • Visitors with minors are responsible for the minors at all times.
  • Physical discipline of a minor will not be allowed at any time.

Denial of Visitation

  • The visitor has previously introduced contraband into this facility or known history from any other facility.
  • The visitor is or has previously attempted to visit while under the influence.
  • The visitor is indicated in the inmate’s order from the court stating no contact on the conditions of release or a separate no contact order.
  • The visitor has refused to cooperate or has been disruptive on prior visits.
  • The visitor has any outstanding warrants, regardless of agency’s ability to extradite.
  • The visitor is on active probation for a violent crime or drug offense.
  • Reasons exist that a visitor may present a security or safety risk to the facility, officers, or inmates.
  • All visitors are subject to a search of their person and effects prior to the visit. Failure to submit to a search will be cause to deny the visit.

Visitor Code of Conduct

  • Visiting is not allowed between individuals have a current “No Contact Order,” Restraining Order,” or “Conditions of Release.”
  • Pets are not allowed in the visiting area except Service Animals.
  • Inmates and visitors must remain fully clothed; lewd acts or exposing oneself may result in criminal charges.
  • Any attempt by an inmate or visitor to circumvent the rules will result in disciplinary action for the inmate and permanent loss of visitation for the visitor.
  • All visitors are subject to search. If a search is refused, the visitor will be asked to leave.
  • Only one inmate visit per visitor on any given day (exceptions for parents with multiple immediate family incarcerated.)
  • No profanity or yelling for inmates, inside or outside the facility.
  • No smoking, food, or beverages is permitted in the lobby or visiting area.
  • No waiting in the Sheriff’s Office Lobby to visit inmates once signed in.

Visitor Dress Code

It is required that all visitors dress conservatively. Any inappropriate clothing will be reason for visitation denial. Any altercations to clothing once in the visiting are will immediately terminate the visit and future visits may be denied. The following are requirements must be followed:

  • Clothing must fit appropriately.
  • Shoes are required.
  • Proper undergarments are required to be worn unexposed.
  • Dresses and skirts must be mid-thigh or longer.
  • No steel toed boots or shoes.
  • No sexually explicit, obscene/offensive language or gang related clothing or materials.

Visitation sessions may be shortened due to volume of visitors, emergency situations, or for reasons determined by Corrections Staff.
